Bento is about the most adorable way to eat.
A bento box is, in the most practical form, a Japanese lunch box. And, because the food is in smaller portions, you get more variety in a smaller package.
One day I was perusing ebay when I accidentally stumbled upon a search which showed mini bento boxes for Barbies. I thought they were so cute!
And then I remembered Lita.
For those who do not watch Japanese anime, Lita is Sailor Jupiter on my favorite cartoon, Sailor Moon. She makes such cute bento lunches for her friends and for people she loves. It is a way of showing effort and being delicious, and very cute!
I was so happy to find bento at Ebay and began searching all of the sites, blogs and Bento I could find!
I even bought cute bento boxes for my daughters! I will take pictures of those soon.
Now I am using them as an excuse to have bento and to make bento. Luckily, they think it is very cute and will take them to school for their food. I have already made bento for them at home because they have been begging me, "Mama! Make us cute bento!"
I will include pictures and recipes and promise it will be fun!
